Ready to add a little festive feel to your home for the holidays? Many people think they need to move out all their old furnishings and bring in cute new things that are trendy and covered in snow glitter and holiday themes. But why not use the furniture you already have and dress the pieces up. you have no doubt seen all the specialty holiday tables that are on the market. They want you to pay a fortune extra for round end tables that are holiday themed when you could create the same thing out of plain round end tables for much less and still have usable tables when the holidays have passed.
When I was still a student my boyfriend graduated college and took a job as a teacher. His work was going to take him hundreds of miles from home so he needed to furnish his first apartment. He had little money to spare and most of his furniture was handed down from his pare notch. I wanted him to take a little memento of our time together and on a students budget I knew I would have to get creative. I went to the discount store and bought two white plastic parsons tables. I took ticket stubs photographs and brochures from outings we took together and artfully arranged them on the top and legs of each table.
