Sleepers and sofa beds always find a use as extra beds. No matter what size of house you live in there is always room for more sleeping accommodation. Whether it is a planned or an impromptu party a family gathering or even if the weather gets bad and your visitors for the evening have to stay the night because they cannot drive home there will eventually come a time when you have to sleep more people than you have beds for. Sure the youngsters do not mind a night on the floor - in fact many love it - but most of us would rather sleep on a sofa than the floor no matter how deep the carpet!
Murphy bed? Wall bed? Perhaps you are one of the many who have no idea what I am talking about. To be honest most Gen Ys have not heard of a Murphy bed it simply wasnt popular during our upbringing. Or maybe your only knowledge of a Murphy bed is from old films where the Murphy bed would slam an occupant inside? We have come a long way since then. Wall beds are making a huge comeback and its not just in small apartments but surprisingly in sprawling suburban neighborhoods. A few years ago my pare notch decided to turn my old room into an office for my father; at the time it did not bother me that my childhood room had been transformed into someone else workspace.
